History of Formation and Development
Lidovit Trading & Industrial Joint Stock Company, formerly LIDOVIT Car and Motorbike Spare Parts Enterprise, was set up in 1988 as a joint venture between the People’s Committee of District I and Union of Motorbike and Bicycle Enterprises under the Department of Industry of HCMC.
Initial material establishment:
- Investment capital : 1,140,000,000 VND
- Area of the factory : 1,526.36 m2
(at 230 Bach Dang, Ward 24, Binh Thanh, HCMC)
- Output : 30,000,000 products/year.
- Total of officers and employees : 25 persons
In 1994 the People’s Committee of District I took over LIDOVIT Enterprise and handed it over to District 1 Import Export Company (SUNIMEX) for management. In January 2004 LIDOVIT Car and Motorbike Spare Parts Enterprise was equitized and converted into LIDOVIT Trading & Industrial Joint Stock Company.
Having undergone a process of formation and development from a small material establishment, nowadays LIDOVIT does not cease growing, with its revenues and production output increasing by 25 times as compared with the first days of establishment, average annual growth rate being 17-20%, LIDOVIT now has become one of the biggest bolt and nuts production companies in Vietnam.
With a contingent of young workers, 80% graduated from universities and workers’ technical schools, LIDOVIT products are strictly produced and controlled under international standards such as: JIS, AISI, DIN, BS, … and TCVN. LIDOVIT products not only gain the domestic market but also are exported to the USA, Japan, EU,…products not only gain the domestic market but also are exported to the USA, Japan, EU,…
In 2002 LIDOVIT was recognized by the international certifying organization DES NORSKE VERITAS (DNV) as an entity having its quality management system attaining to ISO 9001:2000.
LIDOVIT products are now distributed directly to factories and consumers, with best aftersale service via a distribution system in all the provinces from Hanoi to Can Tho.
